Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Journey Traveler role. This position requires traveling nationwide for 13-week assignments, delivering occupational therapy services under supervision of an OT to promote independence and function.

You'll participate in patient care meetings, maintain timely documentation, and collaborate with the rehab team to develop individualized treatment plans. Eligibility for licensure and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• OT assistant program graduate per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• NBCOT certification obtained.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Must be willing to travel nationwide and relocate temporarily.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments providing OT services under supervision.
• Deliver individualized OT programs to improve independence and functioning.
• Attend patient care and rehab team meetings as a representative of OT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services.
• Collaborate with rehab team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Provide instruction to patients and families in OT techniques.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial NBCOT certification

Licensed and/or eligible for state licensure

Willingness to travel and relocate temporarily
