Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant – Journey Traveler who will travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, delivering occupational therapy programs and treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to promote independence.

You will collaborate with the rehab team, document care promptly, train patients and families, maintain equipment, and help ensure the highest quality of service in a compassionate setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
• They must be available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapists primary home.

Responsabilités

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments as part of the role.
• Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Work with the rehabilitation team to develop programs and activities aligned with patient needs.
• Instruct patients, families and other caregivers in therapy techniques under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain appropriate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Organizes and facilitates treatment groups in consultation with the Occupational Therapist.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Formation
