Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist - Journey Traveler to provide therapy across the United States on 13-week assignments. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality OT services, supervising staff, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE-accredited).
• Initial NBCOT registration and valid OT license.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, and students in line with licensure requirements.
• Deliver rehab services per plan of care with accurate documentation.
• Attend and contribute to patient care and staff meetings.
• Refer to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs.
• Collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate therapeutic regimen.
• Adapt plan of care to individual patient needs.
• Promote safety and eliminate hazards in the environment.
• Order supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Maintain, identify, and report equipment maintenance needs.
• Prioritize patient service and compassionate care.
• Screen, evaluate and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Progress treatment plans and perform related duties as required.
