Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist – Journey Traveler who can travel nationwide for 13-week assignments, delivering OT services across skilled nursing, clinics, home care, and schools.

You’ll supervise assistants, develop and adapt plans of care, and coordinate with the rehab team to restore function. Applicants must hold an ACOTE‑accredited OT degree, NBCOT registration, a valid state license, and be willing to travel and relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Initial registration with NBCOT.
• Current state OT license as required in practice state.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments and work in various settings.
• Supervise OT Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as per licensure.
• Deliver rehab services; adhere to plan of care and ensure timely documentation.
• Attend patient care and related meetings; collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate therapies.
• Design and progress OT plans; adapt as needed and ensure patient safety and care quality.
