Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist – Journey Traveler who can travel nationwide for 13-week assignments. You will organize and conduct OT programs across various settings to promote rehabilitation, adaptation, and functional recovery for patients.

The role requires ACOTE‑accredited OT education, NBCOT registration, and an active OT license, with willingness to travel and reside temporarily away from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid and unencumbered OT license as required by the state of practice.
• Must be available to travel and temporarily reside in locations outside of the therapist’s primary home.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students as required by licensure.
• Deliver rehab services per plan of care with timely documentation and scheduling.
• Participate in patient care meetings and coordinate with the rehabilitation team.
• Refer to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs.
