Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist - Journey Traveler to provide exceptional therapy nationwide. This role involves conducting occupational therapy programs tailored to enhance patient rehabilitation in various settings. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in an accredited curriculum and a valid state license. The position offers flexible travel opportunities, ongoing mentorship, and various employee benefits, including comprehensive health plans. The posted salary range is $55.00 - $70.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel and temporarily reside outside of primary home.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs for rehabilitation.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and support personnel.
• Deliver rehab services per established plan of care.
• Attend patient care conferences and contribute to discussions.
• Make referrals for comprehensive patient needs.
• Consult with rehabilitation team for therapy regimens.
• Adapt care programs based on patient needs.
• Maintain a safe environment and manage supplies.
• Evaluate patients and keep detailed documentation.
• Design and apply adaptive devices for patient use.
