Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist for its Journey Traveler program, traveling nationwide for 13-week assignments and delivering therapy across varied settings.

You’ll organize and conduct OT programs, supervise team members, and ensure timely documentation while collaborating with the rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OT from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Initial NBCOT certification required.
• Active OT license in state of practice required.
• Must be able to travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs for the location.
• Direct patient participation to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
• Supervise assistants, temporary licensees, students and support staff as needed.
• Deliver rehab services per plan of care and maintain timely documentation.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapies.
• Promote safety and manage equipment and supplies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE accredited)

Initial registration with NBCOT

Valid state OT license

Willingness to travel nationwide
