TalentBurst is seeking a Travel Orthopedic Registered Nurse for the Aurora, Colorado area. This 13-week onsite contract supports orthopedic surgery units with night shifts and a 3-day work week pattern.

The role requires at least 1 year of Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience, BLS, ACLS, and Chemo certification potential. Nurses float across units, with patient ratios around 1:5, delivering care on the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Care for orthopedic surgery patients, including joints and spine
• Night shift patient care with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Float across related units as needed

• Number of Staff – float pool is about 80
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift – RN and CNAs on most units
• Night Shift – RNs and CNAs on most units
• Patient Ratios – 1:5 days and nights varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed
• Types of equipment - various
• EMR - Meditech

• Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
