Job summary

Rodeo Dental in Aurora, CO seeks a Travel Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to educate patients on treatment needs and coordinate multi-specialty plans. You will convert proposed treatments into scheduled care across pedodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, while maintaining strong communication with referring offices.

Must travel 90-100% and speak Spanish; experience with dental insurances and practice management software is a plus.

Qualifications

1-3 years of previous dental treatment coordinator experience is required.
Must have knowledge of all dental insurances including PPOs, Medi & Chip.
Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experience helpful.
Must be able to Travel 90-100% of the time.
Bilingual (Spanish) is must.

Responsibilities

Educate patients on the type and extent of treatment needed.
Be successful in converting planned treatment to scheduled treatment in multi-specialty.
Communicate with referring offices through letters and emails details of treatment planned and updates.
Ability to call in / Fax COP (change of provider).
Send Pre-Authorizations.
Must utilize excellent communication skills with an ability to explain procedures and plans.
Process payments; Cash, Credit & Care Credit.
Audit chart notes and create claims.
Run end of day reports.
Assist with open and close of the office.
Daily housekeeping (shared with other staff).
Performs all other duties as assigned.
