Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Florida. Start date 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, days shift and 8-hour blocks. Travel employment with a top facility offering comprehensive benefits and credentialing support.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Other client-specific requirements may apply asdetermined by the facility.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
