Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the United States. The role requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
Active RN License.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS Certifications.
Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during, and after surgery.
Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse.
Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside the sterile field.
Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
