Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN in Crestview, Florida for an Operating Room assignment. The OR RN will provide perioperative care, circulate and/or scrub, and support the surgical team. Requirements include 18 months of acute care surgery experience, active RN license, and a nursing degree from an accredited program, with BLS and ACLS.

Travel housing options and full benefits are offered. Typical schedule is 10-hour days, 40 hours per week, with travel benefits and housing

Qualifications

• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse as needed.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
