Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a traveling Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment in a top healthcare facility. Start date is 09/28/2026 with 40 hours per week, 8-hour days.

Travel benefits include private housing or housing allowance, weekly pay, and comprehensive credentialing support. The ideal candidate has 18 months of Acute Care Surgery experience, an active RN license, and a nursing degree, plus BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
