Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pratt, KS. Start date 09/28/2026, 40 hours per week, days. Travel RN with competitive pay and full benefits joins a supportive clinical team.

Required: 1 year OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS. Preferred: ACLS/PALS or ENPC, CNOR, and additional certifications. Excellent patient care and teamwork skills are essential in this fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Positions and prepares patients for surgery ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Assists the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and notifies the surgeon of changes.
• Manages specimen collection and transport per facility protocols.
• Documents care in the perioperative setting accurately.
• Participates in pre- and post-operative handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
• Cleans and restocks the OR between cases per turnover protocols.
• Follows safety rules and uses PPE correctly.
