Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Pratt, Kansas, for a 13-week assignment. This position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, and travel benefits.

As an OR RN, you will prepare the OR, assist with procedures, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team. Active RN license, BLS, and one year OR experience required; ACLS/PALS/CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments and sterile supplies are ready.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and maintains sterile field.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes.
• Handles instruments and supplies, ensuring proper use and disposal.
• Documents patient care in the perioperative setting and participates in handoffs.
