Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Shelton, Washington. The OR RN will join a dynamic team and cover 8-week assignments with 40 hours per week, days shifts, traveling between facilities as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and can assist physicians during procedures while providing patient education and post-op care across varied cases.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse or scrub RN.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS or equivalent certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families and operating room team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed and patient education is provided post-operatively.
