Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a travel nurse RN for the OR in Johnstown, PA. This 13-week contract requires 40 hours per week, dayshift, with on-call duties.

The RN performs pre‑operative and post‑operative care, assists surgeons, monitors vitals, administers medications, and maintains a sterile operating room.

Eligibility includes PA RN license with ACLS/BLS and 1–2 years of surgical experience. ARMStaffing provides benefits, onboarding, 401(k) with matching, travel and housing support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in a surgical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
• Participate in call duties as required.
