Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Johnstown, PA. The position is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week and day shifts.

The Operating Room RN will prepare the OR, assist with patient positioning, maintain sterility, and work closely with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license in PA.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and ensures sterile supplies are ready for procedures.
• Assists in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and enforces infection control protocols.
• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team promptly.
• Monitors patient status during surgery and communicates with the surgeon.
• Documents perioperative care accurately and participates in Handoff communications.
