TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia. The role requires OR experience, RN discipline, a 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour rotating shifts.

As an OR Travel Nurse, you will support surgeons and staff, provide perioperative care, and educate patients. A circulating or scrub nurse background with BLS is preferred for immediate start in Wheeling, WV.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and perioperative support
• Assist physicians and the operating team before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patient safety, ensure correct patient and procedure, and educate patient and family
