Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Glendale, AZ. Start ASAP with 40 hours per week, days, on-site in a facility setting. Strong OR RN experience and AZ RN license required.

The role includes comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, and a dedicated clinical team to support travelers. ACLS/PALS/ENPC CNOR preferred, with licensure and ongoing certifications supported.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Current RN license in good standing with state regulations.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and supplies for each case.
• Assist in patient positioning and sterile technique during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and hand instruments promptly.
• Monitor patient condition during surgery and document changes.
• Manage specimen collection and accurate labeling for tests.
• Document care or handoffs during pre- and post-op phases.
