TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Glendale, AZ. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, with shifts of 10 hours over 40 hours per week.

Travel RN duties include assisting physicians, equipment handling, patient education, and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative period. BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred prerequisites.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.
• Experience supporting surgical teams in OR settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery education and care.
• Prepare instruments and assist with procedures in the OR.
• Monitor patient status and report any adverse events.
• Maintain sterility and assist with specimen handling.
