Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse to work in Glendale, Arizona for a 13-week assignment. The travel RN will work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and travel with the assignment as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, and possibly RN first assistant. ACLS/BLS required, additional certifications may be needed before starting. Benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse; RN first assistant may be possible.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; 3 years of experience? may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Monitor patient during surgery and educate patients and families.
