Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a 495-bed hospital. The role requires 2+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency, with an active RN license (VA or Compact) and BLS/ACLS from AHA.

You will perform circulating and scrub duties across surgical specialties, work 4x10s (6:45 AM–5:15 PM), and participate in on-call shifts. Travel rate applies to non-local candidates outside a 65-mile radius; local candidates are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact).
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA only.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• 2+ years of recent OR experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Surgical Services department in a 495-bed hospital.
• Perform circulating and scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties.
• 4x10 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours.
• On-call requirement of 6-8 calls per month, which may include weekends.
• No floating required.
• Uses Epic EMR.
