Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week assignment in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

The ideal candidate is an OR RN with 1–2 years acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, capable of supporting perioperative care, medication administration, and patient education during the surgical process. This travel role offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts with benefits through TotalMed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating nurse or scrub nurse.
• BLS certification required.
• Travel OR RN position in Bridgeport, WV.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor patient during surgery.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Assist physicians and communicate with surgical team.
• Prepare instruments and assist with sterile field maintenance.
• Educate patients and families on post‑operative care.
