TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (OR Scrub RN) for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, and may include RN first assistant tasks.

You’ll work 40 hours per week with days shifts. As an OR Travel Nurse, you will support surgical teams, handle instrument preparation, patient education, and post-op care.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.
• BLS certification required or preferred.
• Willingness to perform RN First Assistant duties if needed.
• Travel nursing experience a plus; Charleston, WV assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Prepare instruments and assist with procedures during surgery.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and respond to complications.
