Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Tacoma, Washington. The position offers 40 hours per week across 10-hour day shifts, with some evenings or nights, for a 13-week duration.

The role involves working in a large hospital OR with CVOR, robotics, and various case types, including trauma. DaVinci XI procedures are common; Epic EMR experience is preferred. Orientation is provided and travel/lodging considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Active WA license or compact license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year OR experience.
• DaVinci robotic procedures experience mandatory.
• Must scrub and/or circulate OR cases.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a large hospital Operating Room with 20 OR suites including CVOR, general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and outpatient cases.
• Robotic procedures are performed, primarily with the DaVinci XI system.
• Schedule consists of 10-hour or 12-hour day shifts, with some evening or night options.
• Main OR travelers participate in trauma call; call response time is 30 minutes.
• Heart call and pediatric call team involvement may be assigned based on skill set.
