Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an OR nurse in Washington state to support orthopedic and robotic cases in a Level IV trauma center. The role requires strong ortho circulating experience, DaVinci XI proficiency, and the ability to circulate across multiple specialties including total joints, urology, general, bariatric, ophthalmology, podiatry and GYN.

In an 8-room OR with Epic EMR, the nurse will cover 8-hour shifts with potential for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license (or compact) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year ortho circulating experience, or 2 years general OR experience.
• Must circulate ortho, total joint, robotics, urology, general, bariatric, ophthalmology, podiatry, and GYN.
• DaVinci XI robotics experience required.
• Professional, self-motivated, team-oriented, flexible with last-minute changes.

Responsibilities

• Work in an 8-room OR at a Level IV Trauma Center with 65 beds.
• Manage an average census of 25-40 patients/day.
• Circulate cases across ortho/total joints, robotics, urology, general, bariatric, ophthalmology, podiatry, GYN.
• 4 rooms dedicated to total joint cases with 2-7 cases/day depending on ortho pods.
• 4 days/week slotted for bariatric cases.
• EMR: Epic; IV pump: Alaris; Pyxis medication dispensing.
• DaVinci XI robotics in use; Hana Table and related equipment preferred.
• 8-hour day shift 0645-1515; additional shifts available.
