Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Lumberton, NC. The traveler will provide comprehensive perioperative care, prepare the OR, manage surgical equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

Required qualifications include 1 year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. ACLS/PALS/CNOR are preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready for procedures.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintains sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes for the surgeon.
• Documents all aspects of perioperative care accurately and thoroughly.
