Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Lufkin, TX. 40 hours per week, days shift, start date 11/02/2026, travel employment with full benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team.

As an OR RN, you will prepare the OR, manage surgical equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications are preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and ensures sterile supplies are ready for procedures.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintains sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Anticipates team needs and supplies instruments promptly to maintain workflow.
• Monitors patient status and documents perioperative care.
