Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse for a Madison, IN assignment. The role requires 1–2 years acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, or RN first assistant, with ACLS/BLS certifications and 10-hour shifts.

Travel RN will support physicians and staff in perioperative care, assembling instruments, and patient education. Position posted for immediate start, 13-week duration, 40 hours weekly, travel employment type.

Qualifications

• RN with OR specific duties and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Demonstrated bedside care skills and patient education abilities.
• Certifications ACLS and BLS required or as mandated by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication.
• Serve as liaison between patients' families and operating team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education per physician plan.
