Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse to support a Kingman, AZ hospital on a 13-week assignment. The role focuses on operating room nursing as a circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant likely within a travel setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and the ability to stand for long periods; duties include patient care, instrument handling, and assisting the surgical team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• RN First Assistant role potential.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Arizona RN license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery patient care and education.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patient families and operating team.
• Ensure correct procedures are performed on the correct patient.
