Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse in Liberal, Kansas for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant, with ACLS and BLS certifications and 40 hours per week.

Expect duties across pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, instrument handling, and patient education. Travel RN responsibilities include collaboration with the surgical team, monitoring patients during procedures, and ensuring safety and accurate procedure

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and surgical teams in caring for patients during surgery.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and patient education.
• Prepare instruments and assist in the sterile field as needed.
• Administer medications and document care; monitor for adverse reactions.
