• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse.
• Potential duties as RN first assistant may be required.
• Travel assignment in a pediatric/operating room setting if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and patient education.
• Prepare instruments, monitor during surgery, and respond to complications.
• Communicate with patients’ families and coordinate with the operating team.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards in the OR.
