Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse to join our Brockton, MA assignment. This travel position runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with days, eight-hour shifts. The RN will act as circulating scrub or RN first assistant as needed, providing perioperative care and education.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse and holds BLS at minimum. Expect exposure to evolving surgical cases and collaboration with physicians and teams.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating and/or scrub nurse.
• RN First Assistant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education.
• Position, prep, monitor, and assist during procedures; manage equipment and instruments.
