Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Framingham, Massachusetts. The role is 13 weeks long with 40 hours per week, on days, undergoing 10-hour shifts as a Travel RN.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and possibly RN First Assistant. ACLS and BLS certifications are required along with other certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating/scrub nurse.
• Travel RN with OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Perform tasks for circulating and scrub roles as needed.
• Assist RN First Assistant with surgical care and hemostasis.
