Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, WV. You will work 40 hours per week in an OR setting, performing circulating/scrub RN duties and potentially RN first assistant tasks.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, with BLS certification. Travel experience is preferred and duties include patient education and safety throughout perioperative care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of acute care experience as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patients' families and operating team.
