Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. is seeking an OR travel RN in Miami, FL for a 13-week contract. Day shift, 12 hours per day, three days a week, with on-site work.

Meditech experience is required; must be willing to travel and cover OR duties across multiple specialties. Staffing includes 110 total, with robotics/neuro/ortho emphasis and 2 weekend shifts monthly. Compensation includes a weekly stipend and base pay, with a full range of OR responsibilities, patient safety focus, and adherence to unit protocols.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Strong ortho, neuro and robotics experience with ability to float among OR specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room and arrange equipment for surgeries.
• Assist doctors during surgeries and maintain a 30 minute turnover.
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate and repair surgical equipment; track inventory.

• Day Shift: Director, Manager, 18 teams total, 18 RN s and 18 techs
• Night Shift: 2 teams, 1 on-call team, they get called based on staffing and volume.

Patient Ratios –1:1

Type of Equipment: Sterile accessories, circulator, sponges, gowning, gloving, tubing, cords, cuts

Documentation System: Must have Meditech experience

Call Requirements: 2 weekend shifts (8hrs), 4 evening shifts (4 hrs), 1 overnight shift (8hrs) in a month

Typical Hiring Profile

• Must have: (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH)
• BLS, ACLS
• Must have 2 years current experience in an acute hospital setting, not a surgical center
• Strong ortho, neuro and robotics experience, must be willing to float among different specialties in OR
• Must have Meditech Experience.

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s)

• Robotics/Da Vinci, SP, DV5, Mako, Stealth (Neuro), Burn cases (Rooms at 84 degrees temp), cysto fluid management, GI tower system, endo, laparoscopic equipment, ENT, Eye, Trauma 1 peds and adults, endo vascular hybrid room, implants scanning and documentation, specimen documentation, etc

Additional Preferences

Prepare operating room, arrange equipment, assist doctor s during surgeries , Mantain a 30 minute turn around time

Inspect, maintain, decontaminate and repair surgical equipment, keeping inventory records, pre and post-surgical repair including shaving, transporting and applying dressings
