Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Operating Room travel assignment in Clearlake, CA. The role covers scrub, circulating, or float duties in a hospital OR, with a 4x10-hour schedule and a 13-week engagement starting 10/19/2026.

The assignment offers competitive weekly pay, credentialing support, and opportunities for extension based on performance and staffing needs. California RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license.
• Perioperative/Operating Room experience preferred; able to work in a fast-paced OR.
• RN degree (ADN or BSN) required.
• Willingness to meet ongoing competencies and institutional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Function as scrub, circulating or float nurse in the operating room as assigned
• Provide perioperative nursing care for adolescents through geriatric patients; assess data and respond to age-specific needs
• Participate in site identification and time-out procedures for each case; ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Maintain a professional, dignified atmosphere and adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
• Rotate to PACU, Outpatient Endoscopy Unit, and Central Service as assigned; support performance improvement, safety, infection control
• Share call duty as required and willingly perform other duties as assigned
