Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Clearlake, CA. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks, with 4x10 hour day shifts in a hospital-based OR.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,591 to $2,710, with 24/7 recruiter and credentialing support. Candidates must hold an active RN license (CA preferred) and be able to scrub, circulate, or float as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (California preferred).
• Experience in operating room nursing with scrub/circulating/float roles.
• Willingness to rotate to PACU and related perioperative areas.
• Ability to work in hospital OR with 10-hour shifts.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control.
• Ages: adolescent, adult, geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Function as scrub, circulating, or float nurse in the operating room.
• Support perioperative care across related units, including rotations to PACU and Endoscopy/Central Service.
• Adhere to standards, hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in time-out and case identification processes; contribute to performance improvement.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and assess patient data.
• Maintain professional environment and uphold licensing and education requirements.
