Responsibilities

• Function as scrub, circulating or float nurse in the operating room as assigned
• Provide perioperative nursing care for adolescents through geriatric patients; assess data and respond to age-specific needs
• Participate in site identification and time-out procedures for each case; ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Maintain a professional, dignified atmosphere and adhere to hospital and departmental policies and procedures
• Rotate to PACU, Outpatient Endoscopy Unit, and Central Service as assigned; support performance improvement, safety, infection control
• Share call duty as required and willingly perform other duties as assigned
