Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room to support the GU/ENT surgical team in Peoria, IL. Active Illinois RN licensure and current BLS are required, with a minimum of three years of nursing experience and EPIC EMR charting experience.

The role requires Level 1 Trauma center experience and rotating call; travel within the Carle Health system may be possible. The position offers a generous housing allowance, day-one benefits, and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted).
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience.
ASN required, BSN preferred.
EPIC EMR charting experience required.
Level 1 Trauma center experience required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including assessment, care planning, and nursing interventions.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation for continuity of care.
Report and correct patient and employee safety hazards.
Collaborate with the surgical team and contribute to peer professional development.
May float to other Carle Health hospital locations within the system.
Rotating evening and weekend call and rotating weekend/holiday shifts.
Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts.
