Job summary
American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Operating Room to circulate across multiple surgical specialties in a hospital environment. The role requires an active Texas or Compact RN license, current BLS and ACLS, and travel nursing experience.
Expect to circulate gynecologic, general, orthopedic, podiatry, and ENT cases with rotating on-call and weekend duties. Onboarding is conducted onsite during orientation and may take several hours.
Qualifications
- Active TX or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience preferred.
- PACU/recovery experience required.
- Prior travel nursing experience required.
- Skilled in circulating for gynecological, general, orthopedic, podiatry, and ENT procedures.
- Experience with blood/blood product administration, infection control, laser and radiation safety, specimen handling, universal protocol, and wound management.
Responsibilities
- Circulates for general surgery, orthopedic, OB, ENT, and podiatry cases.
- Rotating pain management and weekend call required.
- Circulates a wide range of surgical cases including gynecologic, orthopedic, podiatric, general, and ENT procedures.
- Must complete onboarding modules onsite during orientation, typically 4–6 hours for RNs.
