Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN with combined OR Circulator, Pre-Op, and PACU experience for a surgical services role requiring rotational call coverage. The facility features 3 OR suites and diverse surgical cases, with day shift hours and weekend rotation.

Compensation includes weekly pay with stipends and lodging for travel assignments. The candidate must hold an active Colorado RN license, have 6+ years of nursing experience (3+ years in Pre-Op/OR/PACU), ACLS, and prefer CNOR; scrub

Qualifications

• Active CO or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 6 years of nursing experience required, with 3 years of combined Pre-Op/OR/PACU experience preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include patient assessments, documentation, circulating cases, patient recovery, and preparing patients for surgery.
• Assists with processing surgical instruments and equipment in central sterilizing.
• Provides patient education and emotional support throughout the surgical process.
• Adheres to infection control standards and follows national guidelines from IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, and ASPAN.
