Responsibilities

• Circulating nurse for general surgery in hospital operating room
• Day shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM; 13-week full-time assignment; call required
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Educate patients and families on care plans
