Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room Circulating Nurse for a day shift at a small community hospital. Requires at least 5 years of OR circulating experience and an active ME or Compact RN license.

Candidates should have BLS and ACLS, EPIC EMR familiarity, and a driver's license. The role includes 4x9 hour day shifts with rotating days off and call requirements. Local travel considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in ME or a Compact state.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 5 years OR circulating experience.
• Experience across multiple surgical service lines.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a 100-bed community hospital OR as the circulating nurse.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios and support surgical procedures.
• Document in EPIC EMR during cases.
• Work 4x9 hour day shifts (0700–1630) with a rotating day off.
• Meet call requirements: one weeknight per week and one 48-hr weekend every ~6–7 weeks.
• Assist other units as needed and rotate with team for room turnovers.
