Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for an infusion setting in Lewiston, Maine. The role offers days shifts and a 12-week assignment with weekly pay and collaboration with award-winning hospital partners across the nation.

The RN will administer chemotherapy and related therapies, assess patients, educate families, and ensure safety and HIPAA compliance while coordinating with the oncology team.

Competenze

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.

Mansioni

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.
