Job summary

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN with Oncology specialty and chemotherapy certification for a clinic-based role in Indiana, rotating between Valparaiso and Crown Point. The RN will manage chemotherapy treatments, educate patients and families, monitor conditions, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Requirements include valid IL RN license, ACLS/BLS, chemo certification (ONS/ONCC), and two years of nursing experience; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid IL RN license.
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with patient management and chemotherapy administration.
• Epic or similar charting system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage chemotherapy treatments.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Handle body fluids post-chemotherapy.
• Conduct phlebotomy and manage ports and lines.
