Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified Oncology RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment in Ohio. The role requires an active RN license in OH, BLS, ONS/ONCC chemo certification, and Epic charting experience. Minimum 1 year acute care experience and oncology exposure are preferred.

Expect 8-hour day shifts with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio and travel housing benefits. Experience with IV therapy, port care, and chemotherapy administration is essential.

Qualifications

• Active OH license and BLS required.
• ONS/ONCC chemo certification required.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Prior oncology inpatient/outpatient experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients including IV chemotherapy and port care.
• Administer treatments and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including pharmacy and social services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic Beacon and Pyxis systems.
• Deliver patient and family education and psychosocial support.
