Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Fremont, Ohio. The role focuses on inpatient and outpatient oncology care, including chemotherapy administration and port/central line management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of acute care experience in oncology, BLS, and Epic charting proficiency. This travel assignment offers 13 weeks of 40 hours per week with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, preferably in oncology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV chemotherapy, including bladder installations.
• Provide care and management of implanted ports and central lines.
• Monitor and administer blood products and medications.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and side effects.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy and social services.
