Qualifikationen

• Active WA state or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ONS chemotherapy certification for patient education
• Outpatient oncology experience
• Strong triage and nursing assessment skills
• Proficiency in Epic EMR
• Valid driver’s license

Aufgaben

• Outpatient Hema/Oncology clinic setting within an acute care facility
• Patient population includes pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and general medical oncology cases
• Clinic RN role with limited chemo teaching (max 3 per day) and ~20–30 patient encounters daily
• Majority of patient interaction via phone triage and MyChart messaging
• Staffing: 1–2 providers per RN with 1:1 MA support
• Charge RN available on the unit
• Schedule is Mon-Fri, 0800–1630 or 0830–1700
• Uses Epic EMR
• No weekend/holiday/call/standby/floating requirements
• Responsibilities include triage, nursing assessment, chemotherapy education (virtual and in-person), treatment-plan education, care coordination, and refills
• Collaborates with providers and care team on patient needs
• Onboarding includes 1–2 weeks shadowing
• Dress code: grey/black/white/blue scrubs or business casual
• First-time travelers may be considered
